Plus Size Model Fires Back After Online Trolls Tear Her Down For Wearing a String Bikini

When most of us think about a model, we automatically think about somebody who is thin and curvy. In reality, models come in all shapes and sizes and they all have their place in the industry.

Sometimes, people can even become famous when they begin their modeling career by posing on social media. That is the case with Abby, a 26-year-old woman who loves bikinis and is often seen wearing them when she posts an image.

Abby is a plus size model and she inspires others with her body positive images, sending a message that is very powerful and in the opinion of many, beautiful. She is famous on tick-tock, and she goes by the handle: @theabbybible but her real name is Abby Bible.

Abby is a size 22 fashion influencer and she is an ‘unapologetic fat girl and fashion enthusiast.’ She is from New York City and has gained hundreds of thousands of dedicated fans on tick-tock and other social media platforms.

Despite the fact that many people love the way that she looks and the positive attitude she displays, there are times when people post negatively in the comment section as well. Fortunately, she doesn’t allow those online trolls to stop her and she directly faces them to share the hurtful comments with others.

In one video, she wore a red bikini and a hurtful comment suggested that ‘fat people shouldn’t wear string bikinis.’ To answer the troll, she put on sunglasses, looked at the camera and said: “I don’t care. If you don’t like it, just look away.”

Thousands of people watched that video in a very short amount of time, adding to her fame.

In fact, more than 3000 people liked that video and it created a lot of positivity in the plus-sized influencer arena. People hurried to the comment section to offer encouragement and to express their appreciation for the confidence she shows.

One person said that they bought their first bikini because of her confidence.

On Instagram, Abby said that she was hesitant about wearing casual clothes without makeup. She always felt the need to look put together perfectly, but she now feels that dressing casually is the right of any person and everyone should feel comfortable in what they wear.

One on a talk show, Abby shared a candid thought: “Just because you’re thin, doesn’t mean you’re better than me.” She continues to emphasize that a big plus-sized body does not mean that you can’t rock a bikini just like anyone else.

Although she tries to help others to be positive about their body size, she does get negative comments on a regular basis. She feels that this is associated with people hating on individuals with larger bodies.

In order to address this issue, she said that your body size should not determine your level of happiness or worth. She feels that it is more important to spend those close moments with your loved ones by the pool or at the beach, as achieving a weight loss goal does not make your life more meaningful.
