Woman Loses 518 lbs And The After Pictures Are Mind-Blowing

If you stick around any conversation for any length of time, it is eventually going to head in the direction of diet and weight loss. It seems as if we are all obsessed with how much we weigh, but some people have to consider it more than others.

One woman who certainly did consider her weight was Pauline Potter. At one point, she was the Guinness Book of Records world record holder for her size but she didn’t stay that way for her entire life. In fact, she would transform her body in an amazing way.

When her ex-husband left her, Pauline realized that it was time to make a change in her life. She said: “I finally realized that I was tired of being this size and decided to change my life.”

At that point, she went to a surgeon but before she could go through the procedure, she had to commit to changing her life. Eating a healthier diet was part of it and there were other changes that had to take place as well. When the surgeon saw that she was heading in the right direction, they were able to move forward.

In the end, Pauline was able to lose 518 pounds by the time she was 57 years old. At that point, you couldn’t even recognize her because she was a woman who was hiding under a tremendous amount of weight. These days, she is healthier and slimmer and although she may regret her past, she is happy to look forward to the future.

At one point, there was a rumor going around that she had passed away. In reality, she is still doing very well but she is staying out of the limelight for the most part.

As far as her medical condition is concerned, she did have a lot of health problems after she appeared on the My 600 Pound Life. During the third season, she had to be monitored because she ended up in the hospital. She weighed 643 pounds and lost 44 pounds eating an 800 cal daily diet.

She also said that she has to watch herself very carefully. In other words, she said: “The doctor fixed our stomachs, but he didn’t fix our minds. I have to keep fighting.”

At one point, she was even addicted to painkillers because she was struggling so much. But she was able to get beyond it and to really prove to herself and the rest of the world that she was a beautiful person on the inside and the outside.
