Many people have watched the news very carefully to see if there are any updates on Kate Middleton. Her battle with cancer has mostly been kept behind closed doors, but some details are released on occasion.
In January, Kate had abdominal surgery that was planned and it wasn’t long after that she disappeared. About three months later, she announced that she had cancer.
Although the type of cancer she has was never disclosed, she did say that she would be focusing on her health. The announcement also let us know that she would have some chemotherapy treatments to help ensure her recovery.
The next update came on September 9, when Kate Middleton went on social media to post a video about her chemotherapy being complete. She said that now her goal was to remain cancer-free.
Recently, her brother, James Middleton has talked to NBC News and shared a bit more about his sister. He said: “she’s doing okay. It’s not for me to share on her behalf, you know, how everything’s going. But she’s getting all the right support and focus that she needs. And like anything, it takes time to process.”
After the announcement was made in March, James shared a picture of the two of them with the children. He caption the image: “Over the years, we have climbed many mountains together. As a family, we will climb this one with you, too.”
It’s he said that the picture was special. He said: “I like the metaphor of climbing a mountain. It’s something that we’ve done as a family all of our lives. And you have to respect a mountain.”
Kate and James grew up in Michael Barry, England. They also have a sister, Pippa. Their life has changed since she moved to Buckingham Palace, but his feelings about her have not.
“I’m extremely proud. I’m always taken aback by how much she does do. But to be honest, she’s my sister, so I know all of her quirks and everything and to see her blossoming in that role, I’m very proud of her.”
