Plus-size Influencer Splits The Internet After Claiming To Need 2 Seats When Eating Out

In recent years, there has been a lot of talk about being inclusive. We have seen influencers in many different areas crop up as a result, and one of those is Gracie Bon.

Gracie Bon is known for promoting body positivity and as a Puerto Rican model, she has something to share. Many people follow her because she is a plus-sized influencer who recently said that she needed two chairs for herself when she went to a restaurant.

In a video shared on Instagram, the 27-year-old influencer says that her extra-large figure needs two chairs when she is sitting at a restaurant. In the video, the owner of the restaurant accommodates her with two chairs.

After taking her seat, she takes a moment to pose for a picture and highlight her recently altered figure which she has slimmed down. She then captioned the post: ‘Two seats please’ and posted it on social media.

There were many people who had an opinion on the subject, with some being on her side and others being against her.

She is no stranger to controversy and even gained 200,000 followers after rumors of cosmetic surgery were released. Regardless, she continues to be an influencer for larger women.

She also has released posts talking about how she felt singled out as a result of her appearance. It was a matter of body shaming.

“I was body-shamed during my trip to Disneyland – people wouldn’t stop staring at my curvy body, but it’s what makes me unique,” she wrote. “It’s time to stop body-shaming. We’re all different shapes and sizes, and that’s what makes us unique.”

She went on to describe what people were doing, saying: “They kept taking photos of me, they gave me bad looks all the time, or just kept laughing at me.”

She did acknowledge that some felt she was overreacting but she said that wasn’t the case.

“I know you may think that I am exaggerating and that it’s my fault for being a big girl, but this is literally what God gave me, and I have to embrace every single part of me,” she said.

“Even if you have a condition or you look different, you shouldn’t be bullied for the way you look.”

She then wrapped up the post, saying: “I would never talk negatively about someone else’s appearance. Respect is key. This should be a safe space where everyone feels comfortable, and I wasn’t doing anything, just existing.

“At the end of the day, I just wanted to have fun like everyone else. If you don’t like something, stop hating and keep it to yourself.”
