Diddy Was Desperate To Call Kids From Prison And Things Aren’t Looking Good

Life has a way of changing very quickly and nobody knows this better than Sean “Diddy” Combs. Recently, he found himself in prison and as he waits for his trial, things are not going well.

Things went downhill for Diddy on September 16, when the 54-year-old was arrested on multiple charges. Some of the charges included sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Although Diddy has entered a plea of not guilty, he has not been able to make bail. It’s not that he can’t afford it, the judge just keeps denying it so he has to stay in prison until he sees another judge in October 2024.

Issues we may face are not always limited to those who are facing punishment. Often, the family is also going to face a lot of difficulties, and according to an insider, his family is not doing well.

Diddy has three sons, Quincy, 33, Justin, 30, and Christian, 26. He is also a father to four daughters, Chance, 18, twins Jessie and D’Lila, 17, and Love, 23 months. He was able to use the phone to speak with the children briefly from prison recently.

According to the source: “He is very concerned about his kids and their well-being. He has three minor children, two of whom now have no living parent available with him incarcerated. Four of his seven children have neither parent available with him incarcerated.”

According to another source, the children are responding to the arrest and charges poorly. They are spoken of as being in a ‘state of crisis and shock.’ That insider went on to say: “It’s heartbreaking to see the children in the state they’re in. This is their father. But to them, he’s not Diddy — he’s Dad. He has always been a loving, devoted father.”

Diddy may be the father to the children, but there are a number of mothers. This includes Kim Porter, who is his late wife. She died in 2018 when she was 47 years old. Her son, Quincy, was adopted by Diddy. Justin, another one of his sons was born to stylist Misa Hylton and daughter Chance with Sarah Chapman. His youngest daughter, Love, was born to Dana Tran.

A few days after he landed in prison, he was desperately trying to talk to his children. The same source that spoke about his desire to speak to the children said the family was leaning on each other for support. They also said that the family was ‘turning to God for guidance and strength.’

Diddy is currently locked up at a Brooklyn detention center and is on suicide watch. Suicide watch, according to the US Department of Justice National Institute of Corrections offers frequent observation to prisoners that may be suicidal as a supervisory precaution.

Let’s hope they can get to the bottom of this quickly. Our thoughts are with the family and the difficulties they are facing.
