Founding Member Of ‘No Doubt’ Has Died At 57

There have been a number of celebrity deaths this year, and now we have another to report. Gabriel ‘The Gun’ Gonzales, who was one of the first members of the band, No Doubt has died.

Gonzales was one of the founding members of the ska band No Doubt. He played the trumpet but he was in a motorcycle accident on September 12 in Hermosa Beach, California, which took his life at the age of 57.

Gonzales got his start playing the trumpet in the band at his high school. He was born in 1967 and it was in school that he got in touch with Gwen Stephani and Eric, her brother. They went on to be founding members of the band.

During the 1980s, Gonzalez would perform with No Doubt occasionally. He went on to attend the Berkeley School of Music in Boston.

During the early days, the band was known as Apple Core. They wrote quite a few different songs during those early days, although some of them were never released officially.

In the band’s second album, The Beacon Street Collection, he contributed to the music. This includes being a cowriter of ‘Total Hate 95’. Later, he helped write Paulina.

Fans have gone online to pay tribute to him and his abilities with music. We appreciate what he has brought to us and hope that his family finds peace during this difficult time.
