It’s hard to believe that Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter, Dannielynn Birkhead is 18 years old. She recently celebrated the occasion in style.
Dannielynn Birkhead’s father, Larry Birkhead shared pictures from Dannielynn’s birthday party on Instagram. It was a rather spooky theme, but it made sense when you learned that she would be attending the ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ Afterlife Experience in Los Angeles.
Not only was she prepared to have a fun evening, but she also wore an outfit that went right along with the Beetlejuice theme.
Her father wrote: “Dannielynn had a great time celebrating her 18th birthday with friends and family by attending the @beetlejuiceafterlife.exp and @beetlejuicemovie which made for an out of this world experience. Of course, Dannielynn found a Hot Topic store to get a spooky outfit for all the fun !”
Along with getting prepared for a birthday party that went all out, she also appreciated the fact that her father shared a tribute to her. He posted on Instagram, and it has received tens of thousands of reactions.
He wrote: “Happy 18th Birthday Dannielynn! You are my entire heart. I love you more than I can ever express. May you continue on your journey being ‘humble and kind’ and spread the love that you were given to many others. I am beyond proud of you.”
Looking back to her birthday last year, her father said that he was sure that her mother would’ve been proud of her.
Anna Nicole Smith passed away from an accidental drug overdose when her daughter was only five months old. Her father shared some additional pictures of her on her 17th birthday, showing her with her mom and saying: “You are funny, crazy smart, pretty and just about everything I could ever imagine. Your Mom would be so proud of you, I sure am.”
Something that many people have noticed is how much Dannielynn looks like her mother. Her father even wrote on the 15th anniversary of her death: “Your love is alive still to this day, in the form of a truly one of a kind teenager with her Mom’s smile, beauty and courage.”
He does his best to try to make her feel connected to her mother. Unfortunately, she only had a few months with her, but he said: “We talk about her and remember her all the time.”
We are happy to see that she has grown up and continues to be cared for by a loving father.
