In many schools, the resource officer is a police officer that really cares about the children. They want what is best for them and they will often do what is necessary to make it happen.
This includes Ryan Tillman, a school resource officer at Don Lugo High School in California. During the time that he served at the school district, he had formed a bond with the students but now he was being promoted to Chino Police Corporal.
Some farewells are tearful and others are difficult, but this officer found a way to go out in style. He said: “I wanted to go out with a bang, so I was like, what better way to go out than with doing a dance.”
This wasn’t just one person saying goodbye to another person, he really wanted to leave them with something to remember. That is why he went to the gymnasium with all the students and stood among those in the dance class.
When the Lip Gloss song began playing, the dance started. Suddenly, he was dancing in front of an entire auditorium full of high school students and he had the moves to do it.
When the music shifted over to MC Hammer’s You Can’t Touch This, he pulled out some 90s dance moves that really took things up a notch.
Quite honestly, you have to watch this to understand just how amazing it was. Enjoy this video we have for you below:
