There is a picture that often circulates online of a little baby that looks like Woody Harrelson. More than likely, you have seen that picture but it’s funny that it doesn’t exactly mimic real life.
Although Woody Harrelson does look like that young baby in the picture, he has three daughters who don’t look anything like him. Those three girls are very special to him and have enhanced his life in amazing ways.
Woody has been quite an individual over the years and has been in the spotlight for different reasons. He protested the war in Iraq, fought for marijuana legalization, and lived as a raw foodist for quite some time.
He also played a number of characters, both in the movies and on TV. He won the nomination for an Academy Award for his work on Cheers, for example.
He was only seven years old when he got his started acting school. He was raised alone by his mother, Diane Harrelson after his father abandoned the family. He was not a very happy person growing up and even got kicked out of nursery school.
At one time, he really enjoyed being around people but eventually, he got a lot of pressure from strangers after landing the role of Woody on Cheers. He was a little less outgoing at that point.
It was a change that affected him in a negative way but he became a better human being, in his words, when he met his wife and started a family. They ended up with three daughters, Deni, Zoe, and Makani.
He went on to say that he never believed in long-term monogamy in 2017 and felt the relationships kept people uncomfortably in a cage. He claimed he was incapable of those long-term relationships until he met his wife.
They have now been together for 33 years and the one-time womanizer who was ‘drunk on his success’ has settled down and enjoyed his married life. She had saved him from that downward spiral and made him a committed family man.
Everything changed for Woody after they met and fell in love. They have gone through their difficult times, including him confessing that he had a drunken affair with two women that he met in a bar but she forgave him and he continued in his marriage.
Life has not always been easy for Harrelson but he has entertained us over the years and we appreciate his work. We hope that he has many more happy years together with a woman he shares his life with.
