Dolphin Spins In Circles, Then The Camera Captures The Stunning Reality Of Nature

When it comes to wildlife, there is always something interesting to see and learn. That is true of those animals that live on the dry land but when it comes to sea life, they often hold a lot more mystery. Not only do they spend their days under the water, they live in a part of the earth that is largely unexplored. There is no doubt that the animals that live in the sea will continue to amaze us, and that is certainly true of dolphins.

When most of us think about dolphins, we think about their general demeanor. It always seems to be so happy and carefree. I don’t know about you, but when I find an animal that always seems to be up for some fun and games, I have almost found a soul mate. There is something else to consider, however, and this is not something that typically makes it into the wildlife documentaries. You are about to see something unusual and perhaps even a little unexpected. It is what our dolphin friends do when they are not quite so friendly.

Dolphins need to eat, just like the rest of us. There isn’t always going to be a trainer standing there, however, tossing them fish out of a bucket. When they are in the wild, bottlenose dolphins have feeding time down to a science. In fact, it might even shock you at what they are able to do.

When you watch this video footage, you might be wondering what in the world that dolphin is doing. She is slapping her tail against the bottom of the ocean as she swims in a circle. As it turns out, this isn’t just something that looks amazing from overhead, she is laying a trap and making the other fish do the dirty work for her.

You can see what they are doing in this incredible video:
