When I was growing up in school, math was a super big challenge for me. Like many kids, I feared and dreaded math. However, as an adult, I grew to not be so afraid of math. I realized that it was just a matter of being able to focus and that a lot of kids aren’t in love with math. I was just a “lazy student,” I was told, but that wasn’t the case. What I know is that math felt overwhelming to me. That, and yeah, it wasn’t exactly the way I wanted to spend a Saturday afternoon. It was boring to me. Since I’ve grown up, I’m more interested in math and I appreciate the perfection of it, even though I’ll never be an Einstein.
