Do you enjoy solving puzzles? If you do like puzzles, you probably have a favorite type of puzzle. I have a lot of fun doing visual puzzles, while my wife enjoys word puzzles (crosswords and things like that) and logic problems. I’ve seen her invest some good chunks of time trying to solve a logic problem that would have had me stumped. As it turns out, human beings love solving puzzles because it’s hard-wired in our DNA. Even our earliest ancestors solved puzzles every day, although it was usually about survival and things of that sort. If you think about it, only the people who were willing to solve problems survived long enough to procreate.
If you love logic problems as my wife does, you will enjoy trying to figure this one out. There are seven glasses in the image below. Using logic, which one will fill up first? Take your best guess. We’re going to give you some clues, too.
Did you figure it out? Here are some clues:
- If a route is blocked, it can’t fill.
- If a straw isn’t connected to the cup, it can’t fill.
