Do you have a special animal in your life? If you happen to have a dog or cat that shares your home, then you realize that they have quite a love for getting a little bit of special attention. Admittedly, humans have that desire as well but animals just to never hold back when it comes to enjoying a little bit of custom-made attention that is going their way. Perhaps that is why a dog will sit there and allow you to scratch him behind the ears for hours on end, or a cat will curl up in your lap and purr away.
As it turns out, it’s not only dogs and cats that enjoy this type of attention, there are many different types of animals that enjoy having a good scratch every once in awhile. That includes capybaras, and you can find them living at the Nagasaki Bio Park in Japan. They have a caretaker that loves nothing more than giving them some special attention, which is why it is so adorable to see them lined up and waiting for a good scratch. The pandemic had caused the zoo to be closed to the public for awhile, so the friendly capybaras were just looking for a little bit of attention.
“No visitor come to scratch capybara because our zoo is closed temporarily at the moment due to prevent spread of coronavirus. Capybara came to be scratched one after another in this video. They must be waiting for you to come.”
The footage was taken in the height of the pandemic in May 2020. Nagasaki prefecture residents are now able to visit the zoo, but there are safety measures in place to protect those visitors, as well as to protect those who work at the zoo from the spread of the coronavirus.
