The coronavirus pandemic has caused problems that most people could never have even anticipated. Of course, most of us never even saw this issue coming in the first place and we are now struggling just to keep up and live our lives from one day to the next. Perhaps one of the most profound changes for most people, and likely one that is going to be around for quite some time, is the need to wear a mask. In the United States, people would often watch the news and videos of people in other parts of the world wearing masks and think about how they would never have to do it. Times have changed.
Although there are a lot of different options available when it comes to masks, one of the most popular is just a simple disposable mask. They are relatively inexpensive, becoming easier to come by and we don’t have to worry about washing them. It doesn’t mean that they aren’t without their problems, and perhaps one of the biggest problems is the fact that they aren’t the friendliest when it comes to the environment. Throwing the masks away is one thing but people just seem to be tossing them on the ground. One man decided that he would take those masks and do something good with them, and the world has fallen in love with it.
In the description of the video, he said: “I found a way to repurpose used surgical masks. The little bunnies seem to enjoy using them as hammocks.” When you see it for yourself, however, you realize just how adorable it can be.
Of course, bunnies are naturally adorable but when you put them in tiny hammocks created from these disposable masks, it really brings something amazing to our lives. It’s just what we needed in 2020, and you can see it for yourself in this video:
