The 5 Funniest Moments Ever Seen On The Carol Burnett Show

There have been many funny shows over the years but I would have to say that Carol Burnett is one of the funniest we have ever seen. Not only were there some classic comedy moments that could never be repeated on any other show, but the comedians that were on the show also worked very well together. In fact, it was the combination of Tim Conway and Harvey Korman that could literally force you to laugh out loud, every time they were on the screen! Tim Conway even says that it was his goal to make them laugh, and he did a good job making it happen. That being said, there were some funnier moments from the show that deserve our respect, including these 5.

1. The elephant story sketch

This is a sketch that ended up being unedited and it was Tim Conway trying his best to make Carol Burnett and the rest of the cast laugh. Not only was he able to do it, his ad-lib. story about elephants is a classic down to this day.

2. The Interrogator

What could be funnier than Tim Conway and Harvey Korman playing to Nazi soldiers who are questioning Kyle Wagner? It is one of the funny memories from the show that many people enjoy. Perhaps the funniest part is when Tim Conway uses the hand puppet of Adolf Hitler.

3. Airline Security

When Harvey Korman is trying to travel on an airline and his flight is leaving in three minutes, he has to deal with Tim Conway as a security officer. This is one of those classic scenes that just gets funnier every time we see it.

4. The Butler and the Maid

Carol Burnett and Tim Conway team up to play the roles of a butler and maid who are waiting on Harvey Korman and Vicki Lawrence. At one point, Tim Conway even has to burp Harvey Korman’s character and use a toothpick to remove food from his teeth!

5. The Intercom

Mrs. Wiggins, played by Carol Burnett works along perfectly with Mr. Tudball, played by Tim Conway. When they go back and forth, the banter just gets funnier and funnier.

If you thought that those were funny, just wait to you see the Carol Burnett blooper reel!
