How long have you been watching television? Most people would simply say that they have been watching it for their entire life but the fact is, some of us have lived a lot longer than others. Perhaps you can think back a decade or two and reminisce on some of the shows that were popular during that time. You may also be able to think back far enough that you remember black and white television shows from many years ago. Some of the younger generation may think that they are out of date and not very funny but that is probably because they never actually took the time to watch them.
Some of the older shows that were in black and white included Andy Griffith, which was a fantastic comedy that showed family life many years ago. It was also a little on the cutting edge, because Andy Griffith was a single father who lived with his aunt Bea. The show had many popular people on it, including Howard Cunningham and Gomer Pyle. There were even some spinoffs from the show, including when Gomer Pyle joined the Marine Corps and the show, Gomer Pyle USMC was on the air. It was an interesting comedy about a backwoods country boy who joined the Marine Corps and did a pretty good job of it.
More than likely, you are aware of the bullying problem that many people have to face. It seems as if it is not a new problem, because even Gomer Pyle was facing it in his old television show. There was one of the men in his unit that was nothing but a bully and Gomer had to teach him a lesson. The problem was, he was just too nice to do it outright.
As the scene progresses, you get to see a lot of the comedy that made these old classic shows so funny. Watch it for yourself and you will see that there is nothing quite like laughing at the good, clean humor of these old television shows.
