If you were to ask 20 different people the same question, you would probably get 20 different answers. Of course, there are some questions that are open to any type of answer but there are others that need to be answered in a very specific way in order for them to be correct. Just because people give different answers does not mean all of them are going to be the right answers and that is where the fun comes in. Not only can it be interesting to see this happen for yourself, it can also lead to some rather funny consequences.
Although very few of us will be asked questions on a regular basis that need to be so correct, there are times in life when we may have to give a correct answer and the incorrect answer is never going to be acceptable. That is the case when you are on a game show. These people that find themselves on game shows have gone through a series of tests to determine that they know enough that they will be a genuine contestant. For example, you wouldn’t put somebody on Jeopardy with very limited knowledge about trivial matters. They need to be able to answer at least some of the questions or they might as well just stay home.
When somebody makes it onto a game show, it means that they are qualified to do so according to the creators and judges of the show. There is something interesting that happens, however, when you are put under pressure. You may know the answer in the back of your mind but it seems as if the dumbest things are going to come out of your mouth.
