There are certain things that we may have done since we were a child and they tend to be something that will be used as a form of play. It differs from one person to another and in many cases, it may even be different depending upon the area where you grew up or the generation you happen to be part of. There are also certain activities that just seem to cross from one generation to the next and they always have a high level of popularity. This includes one activity, the jump rope, that you likely took part in when you were a child.
Some people jump rope in order to get some exercise and many children do it to burn off some excess energy they may have at recess. Every once in awhile, however, you may hear about somebody who takes jump rope to the next level. These are the people that not only skip rope but they dance and they even do some acrobatic tricks while they are under the rope as well. It could be rather interesting to see and most people do it on an amateur level, although the skill that they have can be quite great. At times, they may also take their jump roping skills and put on a performance.
The 12 girls in the video below are from Russia and they have some very unique jump roping skills that you are going to love. When they come out on stage, you can tell that they are coming out with a singular purpose and they just take things to a higher level from that point. They are doing a choreographic ensemble, ‘school years’ and ‘after lessons’. It’s amazing to watch.
