There are some singers who come and go very quickly and you don’t hear much out of them after they have disappeared. Perhaps somebody that you think about in this regard is MC Hammer. He was wildly popular with his hit single but it wasn’t long until he went from the top of the heap to the bottom of the barrel. Today, he is even recognized as being that riches to rags story and he has even made a name for himself for that very reason. Although he is an example of one of those singers, there are some singers who rise to epic levels.
One singer that you may think about when it comes to awesomeness is Elvis Presley. He was certainly at the top of his game when he passed away a number of decades ago but even though he has been gone for a long time, his music continues to be recognized and even played regularly on the radio. In fact, there are many youngsters who have never heard his music while he was alive and they can still imitate him and sing his songs Word for Word. It’s an interesting phenomenon, and one that we are probably very familiar with.
Elvis Presley was not only a singer, he was also an incredible performer. He was able to cross over from music to acting and he even combined the two of those in his movies in a very memorable way. When Elvis got older, he was invited to Las Vegas and he became one of the staple performers on the Las Vegas strip.
