What comes to your mind when you think about a television commercial? More than likely, you find them to be slightly annoying and if you have to watch too many of them during your favorite show, you may even get up and change the channel. Let’s face it, commercials are an interruption to our lives but they also are there to help the station and the advertiser to stay in business. Quite simply, without advertising, it’s unlikely we would see many of our favorite shows.
Although commercials can be annoying, there are also times when they can be humorous. If you think back a few years, you may even remember a classic commercial by the water company, Evian. Rather than being of a serious nature like many commercials or perhaps one that shows people in an unfavorable light, it is a lighthearted commercial that makes you smile from the inside out. After all, it uses two things that we really love in life, dancing and babies. What could be better?
The mark of a good commercial is the fact that you think about the product after the commercial has ended. I’m not really sure if this particular advertisement fits that description, but it is one that I could watch over and over again. When the people begin seeing reflections of themselves and it is a little baby looking back at them, the possibilities of an awesome commercial are unfolding in front of us.
At times, commercials can frustrate you but there are also some that can make you feel good about life. This particular commercial is one of those that makes you feel good and you may find that you are coming back to it, anytime you need a smile.
