Identical Twins Have Rainbow Babies On Same Day At Same Hospital

People are fascinating. Once you’ve gotten to know a friend, spouse, or family member well enough, you can genuinely start to appreciate all of the unique intricacies of their nature, which makes them dear to your heart. It just seems as if folks everywhere have something unique and incredible to offer this world. Although each of us is unique, there are certain folks in society that have a particular uniqueness to them. I’m talking about identical twins, and if you happen to know twins or be one yourself, then you realize that they are unique in ways that most folks are not.

Twins often follow very similar paths in life, and sometimes, they can follow these paths without being aware of it. Search the internet, and you’ll find dozens of stories about twins who never met before but had spooky similarities such as marrying spouses with the same first name, going into the same line of work, or naming their children the same names. There are just too many things that are similar between twins that can be written off as coincidence. For example, take the story of Bao Kou Julie Yang and Bao Nhia Julia Yang. These 23-year-old identical twin sisters both had miscarriages before they conceived another child.

However, one thing that makes their rainbow babies even more special is the fact that their twin moms had them at the same time and in the same hospital.

The sisters spoke about their experience in an interview with People and said that they could still remember the day they both checked into the hospital. They were checking in a week early to give birth to their children.  “We both weren’t expecting this, to say the very least,” Bao Kou said. “I was definitely in shock, but I was happy for the both of us. It’s really a miracle.”

When it comes to birth, it’s extremely rare to see these types of circumstances surrounding the event. Both ladies lost babies before they had conceived this time. It was an incredibly emotional time for both women, but they had each other to lean on for strength and support.

“My sister and I went through miscarriages together and that definitely brought us closer,” Bao Kou said. “Being able to see her, being able to have her be there and keeping me together after our miscarriages was something that was very important to me.”

Despite the fact that the situation they had faced together was tragic, they took comfort in knowing that they had each other to relate to. The fact that they both experienced something so profoundly painful only served to make the bond even stronger between the twin sisters.

“We were just feeling a lot of love and care for each other. We’ve gone through a lot,” Bao Kou continued. “We definitely were there for each other and we both reminded each other that no matter what happened, we were always going to have each other.”

Now both women are proud mothers of two beautiful baby girls, and we know that they will grow to become closer to each other as new moms.

“They seem to get along with each other. They fall asleep next to each other fine. They cry at the same time,” Bao Kou said of the babies. “I think that me and Julia will try our best to ensure that our children know what a close bond she and I have. Hopefully they will get to share that as well.”

The birth was not only a special event for Bao Nhia and Bou Kou, but the hospital also felt very special to the twins as well. Their children were both born at the Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, California, and a picture of the mothers with their newborns was shared on a Facebook page. The caption read:

“Yes, you are seeing double! These twins gave birth to baby girls only two hours apart. Welcome to the world Baby Nadalie (purple) and Baby Candra (pink)!”

It’s incredible that these ladies are going to have the opportunity to raise their little girls together. Congratulations, Bao Kou and Bao Nhia!

Please be sure to share their remarkable story with your friends and family.
