It’s not unusual to see the world-famous Makeover Guy, Christopher Hopkins, work his magic on women. But in his most recent video, he performed his makeover magic on a married couple!
Hopkins introduced the video by saying:
“Jane wanted her husband to get a makeover and he wasn’t coming unless she did as well. They had a blast at the studio and we think they’re a perfect example of how to keep things alive by keeping up your appearance.”
And folks seem to love a good married couple makeover because the video has generated nearly 30,000 views in one day!
These two lovebirds have been married for 33 “glorious years” as they said in unison (how cute!) and together for 37 years. It’s obvious the two just get a kick out of one another.
Jane says when she first met her husband, he seemed like a very nice guy, but “really immature.”
“And now?” he asked. “You’re still really immature,” she shot back, laughing.
Jane also joked that she didn’t want her husband, who she met in high school but started dating in college, looking “too good” or else it might go to his head.
The couple is living proof that a good sense of humor and a happy marriage can go a very long way in looking good.
Neither one “needs” a makeover, they just wanted to freshen up their look a little.
And when the transformation was revealed, each of them looked positively stunning. Granted, it wasn’t the radical transformation that we are used to seeing, but they looked younger, hipper, and more glamorous.
Jane was just smitten by her husband’s new look.
“I think he looks fabulous. I told him he could be on GQ,” she gushed.
Meanwhile, the lucky husband, who does look pretty sharp, says his wife is always beautiful on the inside (yikes), but he saves himself by saying today she looks exceptionally beautiful on the outside.
Both Jane and her husband also got haircuts to show off their facial features. For his part, Jane’s husband (whose name was not mentioned in the video) got a beard and mustache trim as well. The husband’s brand-new semi-slicked back look shows of his chiseled cheekbones. Even his posture seems better once he’s not hiding behind all that hair.
As for Jane, she had a few inches cut off and received a dramatic wave inspired by old Hollywood. She wasn’t wearing makeup when she came in, but the team evened out her skin with a little foundation, highlighter her cheeks with some blush, and put the focus on her eyes using mascara and eyeliner. Plus, by giving her a neutral lip color, they didn’t distract from the main focus.
And as we know, the eyebrows make the face, and filling in the grows also drew attention to Jane’s lovely eyes.
