‘I’ll Eat ‘Til I’m Dead’: 707-Pound Man Says He Would Rather Die Than Lose Weight

Casey King is only 34-years old, but he doesn’t have a job, or money, and lives at home with his dad. Why is this, you ask? Casey weighs over 700 pounds and can not even fit into a pair of underwear.

To make matters worse, Casey has become accustomed to this lifestyle, and when asked, he shrugs off any concerns, stating flatly: “I’ll eat till’ I’m dead.”

Casey’s story was recently featured on a TLC reality series called “Family by the Ton,” which follows the stories of morbidly obese families who desperately need to lose weight.

On the show, we see what Casey’s typical day consists of: Waking up close to noon, eating, playing video games, watching TV, more eating, and finally going to bed.

“I’m accepted in all those virtual reality worlds and the gaming world I’m in,” he says. ‘No one sees me. That is my outside. That is my world that I can be the Casey I want to be, but not be judged on my weight.’”

As for his dramatic weight gain, he says that it’s not something completely unexpected. He mentions that he’s been large for most of his life, from a child through his years in high school. But now, he rarely gets any form of exercise and consumes vasts amounts of everything from fast food to Japanese cuisine, day after day.

“Me and my dad would get hibachi delivered, sushi by the barrel. I mean, just anything you wanted to eat, we were getting,” he explains.

Because Casey can’t comfortably wear clothes, that also means he can’t comfortably bathe himself either. On one occasion he got stuck in the shower for nine hours straight, just sitting there. And now? He has to wash in a metal trough outside.

“I have to lift up literal pieces of skin. It’s just a super difficult process,” Casey says. “Because I am a bigger guy with, like, folds and flaps, I have to move around, almost like a pig in a way, and wallow and roll over to get the back of my leg.”

For now, Casey says that he no intention on losing any weight, and his father has no plans to stop caring for his son.
