Puppy Reacts To Mufasa’s Death In ‘the Lion King’ And Leaves Millions In Tears

Do you have a special dog in your life? Of course, any dog that we have in our family is going to be special to us but sometimes, it just seems as if a particular dog has our heart for the rest of our lives. Perhaps it has to do with their personality and the things that they do to make us smile.

There are also other things in our life that may have our heart as well. For many of us who grew up watching The Lion King, there was one particular moment that may still touch you, every time you see it. It’s that moment when Mufasa dies, and quite honestly, it’s difficult to watch it even today without getting choked up. If you find yourself tearing up when you watch that part of the movie, you better grab some tissues before you watch this video.

When Josh Myers was watching this Disney movie with his girlfriend, he saw that Luna, his four-month-old dog was acting strangely. She had been playing with her toys but when she saw Mufasa falling ill and dying, she started whining at the TV. It was then that Josh took this video that is touching hearts everywhere.

Simba tries to wake his father up and Luna is getting excited. It seems as if she is even distressed over the situation and she stares at the screen and begins crying. It seems this if she is really concerned for the little lion cub as he is looking for help.

Josh is sure that Luna understood the pain of the situation and many people agree. When he uploaded the video to Facebook, he said: “To see her crying at the TV was the sweetest thing I think I’ve ever seen.”

“She even lays down right after Simba lays with his dad,” he added. “We don’t deserve dogs.”

Millions of people saw the video and they agree that the emotional reaction causes them to break down in tears.

“Omg this is the greatest thing…soooo sweet and so sad! That baby!!! So smart!” one Facebook user wrote.

Josh said that Luna started playing with her toys after the scene was over. He says that she got plenty of hugs and kisses, so she was well taken care of.
