Rick Harrison Of ‘Pawn Stars’ Is Grieving Over The Loss Of His Son

If you watch the television show, Pawn Stars, then you probably are familiar with Rick Harrison. He is the creator of the show, along with being the lead cast member that you see on a regular basis.

Unfortunately, Rick is now mourning the loss of his son, Adam. Adam Harrison passed away at the age of 39 because of a drug overdose. Rick’s representative, Laura Herlovich confirmed his death.

According to the Clark County Coroner, Adam’s death is being ruled as an accident. It was a combination of methamphetamine and fentanyl that led to the overdose.

Unfortunately, this is becoming a common occurrence. In the United States, there were almost 74,000 people who died as a result of fentanyl overdose in 2022. That number is almost double what happened in 2019.

Adam did not regularly appear on the television show. He was a plumber, and although he did work at the family pawn shop, he wasn’t often seen on the show.

A statement was released by the representative to ask for privacy while the family goes through the grieving process. Rick also went on Instagram to honor his son, share a picture, and say: “You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam.”

A tribute was also paid to Adam by Corey, his older brother. A picture of the two of them in a bathtub when they were children was shared on social media. He left the sentiments: “I will always love you Bubba.”

We hope the family is able to have the privacy they need and to find comfort during this difficult time.
