Cancel Culture Takes Aim At Brian McKnight After He Calls His Kids A “Product Of Sin”

Cancel culture is alive and doing well and, thanks to Brian McKnight, they have a new target to focus on. That is due to his recently calling his older biological children a ‘product of sin.’

People online were furious after watching the Q&A session with the 54-year-old singer on Instagram. He spoke about his 4 oldest biological children, Brian Jr, Niko, Briana, and Clyde, and people were not happy.

During the discussion, one of his fans was defending his decision not to claim his biological children as his own. They said that relatives can be ‘pure evil’ and McKnight had a comment.

He said: “I wanna big up my man right here. He gets it. He then went on to say, “In order to live a life that you love, you have to get rid of the evil and the negativity — even if that evil and negativity is related [to you].”

Another fan spoke about how his act of disowning his children goes ‘against God’. The comments sparked a rather lengthy discussion and what might be considered a ranch by some, where McKnight said:

“1. God wasn’t talking about children that are the product of sin which these are 2. I didn’t raise them their mothers did 3. Know the whole story before quoting the Bible 4. Take your inaccurate negativity off my page and try being happy.”

It is no secret that McKnight has not been very close with his older four children and even called them entitled in 2019. At this time, he refuses to claim those children.

McKnight got married to Leilani Malia Mendoza and they have a son, Brian, together. She is also a mother to 2 other children from a previous relationship. Mendoza only considers himself to be a father to one daughter and his infant son, Brian.

The Internet was furious with his statements about his biological children. Many of them claimed that they were ready to cancel him on their own and they were pleading with others to do the same.
