There have always been people who enter a relationship and there is a significant difference in their age. Traditionally, the man is older than the woman but we know that that is not always the case and sometimes, the woman can be considerably older than the man.
For a woman named Cheryl and her 26-year-old husband, the age difference is more than significant. After all, she is 63 years old and he is only 26.
If that wasn’t enough, the couple has had to face a lot of criticism because of the age gap that they experience. They put it all behind them, however, and now are saying that they have a baby on the way.
63-year-old Cheryl McCain has 18 grandchildren at this time. Her relationship with her husband, however, Quran McCain has put them in the spotlight on social media.
He was only 15 years old when they first met and they worked at Dairy Queen together. They didn’t have much of an interaction at that point and there were no romantic feelings but eventually, they would hit it off by meeting at a gas station.
They spent some time together, as he was 23 years old at the time and he eventually told her that he had feelings for her. They started the relationship in April 2021 and got married in September.
When they started joint social media accounts together, they wanted to document their lives. Cheryl’s children, however, were not very happy with the marriage.
She said: “I have seven kids but I only see one of them as the others do not support our relationship. It hurts me, it hurts me a lot.
“They were my whole life and all of a sudden I wanted to be married to someone I had fallen in love with and they didn’t support that. I have 18 grandchildren and I only see three of them.”
They are now having a child through a surrogate and they will have their own baby to add to the family. A TikTok video was shared, showing her holding up the sonogram images.
They also were quick to keep the critics from having the first and last word, by addressing the problems from the beginning.
Cheryl said: “It was an amazing feeling to find out we were going to have a baby. We get to start our own family. I am the happiest now than I have ever been before. It will make our family so much happier as we will love the baby unconditionally.”
Her husband chimed in, saying that he cried with tears of joy when he found out about the baby. It is going to be his first child and he says he had never felt love like this apart from the time when he got married to her.

“Baby girl or baby boy it doesn’t matter. I am having a baby and we are starting our life together. Even though Cheryl won’t be the biological mother, blood doesn’t make you family and she will be the best mom.”
The comments were full of people who were both criticizing them and others who were congratulating them. It will be interesting to see where this one goes.
