Children around the world enjoy dressing up in costumes. Some may just do so in a normal way but others take things to the next level.
One of the more popular costumes in recent years is from the movie, Hocus-Pocus. Three young girls decided to try their part in dressing up as the Sanderson sisters and they nailed it in an amazing way.
Even though these girls are young, they have likely watched Hocus-Pocus recently. Now that it is 30 years old, people are watching it over and over again and young fans, as well as older fans, are dressing up in costumes.
These three young sisters from Waco, Texas, wore the Halloween costumes with pride. They also showed up for a photo shoot and the Internet can’t get enough of the pictures.
Landri Grabenstein was six years old when the photo shoot took place. She was with her 8-year-old twin sisters, Alli and Maddi. The three of them looked more like the Sanderson sisters than most others.
Their mother, Heather Grabenstein spoke with Good Morning America, saying “October 1st rolls around and they’re asking, ‘Mommy, can we watch Hocus Pocus?”
The year before these pictures were taken, they were dressed as superheroes. They stood together as Wonder Woman, Batgirl, and Harley Quinn. The year before that, they were the Powerpuff Girls.
Landri did an amazing job of looking like Mary. It was not only the costume, her facial expressions did the job as well.
Next, we have Maddi dressed up as Winifred, played by Bette Midler in the movie. You can tell that she had all of the energy necessary to pull it off.
Last, but not least, we have Alli dressed up in a pink and purple gown. She played the part that Sarah Jessica Parker played in the movie, Sarah.
The photographer who took the pictures, Heather Rust Photography said that they were the ‘sassiest little things.’ She knew that it had the potential to go viral but she wasn’t expecting it to go this far.
I wonder what they’re going to dress like next year?
